Meet Hannah
I’m Hannah Kopen—
a relationship coach, somatic embodiment facilitator, and House DJ working towards her marriage and family therapy license.
I help individuals and couples break reactive patterns, regulate their nervous system, and build relationships that actually feel safe, connected, and alive.
This work isn’t just about insight.
It’s about changing how you show up in real time.
Most people don’t struggle in relationships because they don’t know better.
They struggle because their nervous system is running the show.
That’s where I come in.
My approach blends:
somatic therapy
attachment science
nervous system regulation
and real-world communication tools
So you’re not just talking about your patterns—you’re interrupting and rewiring them as they happen.
Alongside my clinical training in Marriage and Family Therapy, my 8 years experience in integrative life coaching, somatic embodiment, movement, and music gives this work a different depth.
Because lasting change doesn’t come from talking alone.
It comes from what your body learns is safe.
I don’t just sit and analyze your past.
I help you:
catch your reactions in real time
understand what’s underneath them
and shift them while you’re actually in it
This is active, relational, and grounded work.
No over-processing.
No endless loops.
Just clear patterns, real tools, and embodied change.
Music has always been part of how I understand people.
As a DJ, I’ve watched what happens when someone feels safe enough to let go, move, and come back into themselves.
That same principle applies to relationships.
When your nervous system is regulated:
you listen differently
you respond differently
you connect differently
This work is about creating that shift—
whether we’re in session, or you’re out living your life.
You cannot think your way out of a dysregulated nervous system.
You can understand your trauma, your attachment style, your patterns…
…and still feel stuck.
Dance bypasses that loop.
It creates:
expression without needing language
release without needing explanation
connection without needing perfection
My Non-Negotiable VALUES:
Integrity: The state of being whole and undiminished
Safe Space: Where you can be you, held in all your enoughness
Intuition: Knowing to trust yourself
Creativity: Own your self-expression
Transformation: Release your inner badass
Community: Because no woman is an island
Joy: Embrace the good vibes and spread that sparkle wherever you go!
Resilience: Brush off the haters like a diva and rise like a phoenix from the ashes!
Authenticity: Rock your true self, 'cause there's no one else quite like you!
Pleasure: Indulge in life's juicy delights and savor every moment like it's a scrumptious piece of chocolate!
Neuroscience: It’s not always about the touchy-feely stuff

Hannah helps people rebuild trust—with themselves and each other—by working with the nervous system, not just the mind.
Who this is For:
For Individuals:
This work is for you if you feel stuck in patterns that keep repeating—no matter how much you’ve tried to think your way out of them.
You might be:
– in a relationship where the same arguments keep happening on a loop
– the one who shuts down, avoids, or withdraws when things get intense
– the one who over-explains, over-gives, or feels “too much”
– struggling to trust yourself, your decisions, or your partner
– aware of your patterns… but still unable to change them
– living with anxiety, ADHD, or emotional overwhelm in your body
– craving deeper connection, but not knowing how to create it safely
For couples:
You love each other—but something isn’t working.
Communication turns into conflict.
One of you pursues, the other pulls away.
Resentment builds faster than repair.
You don’t need more advice.
You need a way to feel safe enough to relate differently.
Why Music + Movement Matter:
Before I became a relationship coach, I was a dancer.
Before I sat in therapy rooms, I was behind the decks.
And what I’ve learned—through both worlds—is this:
The nervous system responds to rhythm faster than it responds to words.
Music directly impacts:
– heart rate
– breath
– emotional state
– and your body’s sense of safety
That’s not abstract—it’s neuroscience.
When you’re stuck in anxiety, shutdown, or reactivity, talking about it only goes so far.
Your body needs a different pathway.
Movement allows you to:
release stored stress and emotional tension
come out of freeze or numbness
reconnect to sensation and aliveness
experience expression without needing to explain
Dance—especially in shared spaces—also creates co-regulation.
It’s practice for:
– attunement
– presence
– connection without pressure
This is why I integrate music and movement into my work.
Not as performance.
Not as something you have to “get right.”
But as a powerful way to help your body reset, regulate, and reconnect.
Sometimes healing happens in conversation.
And sometimes it happens on the dance floor.
Love from my clients
a little more about me
Alongside my therapy work, I’m also a DJ.
And this isn’t random—it’s part of how I understand healing.
Music and rhythm directly impact the brain and nervous system. They influence heart rate, emotional state, and regulation faster than words alone.
Movement helps the body:
– release stored stress
– complete emotional cycles
– reconnect to sensation and aliveness
For many people, healing doesn’t happen through insight.
It happens when the body is given a way to move, feel, and reset.
My work is rooted in both training and lived experience.
I’ve done my own deep work around:
– relationship patterns
– emotional regulation
– disordered eating
– people-pleasing and self-abandonment
And I’ve combined that with formal study in psychology, neuroscience, and somatic practices through my Marriage and Family Therapy training.
What This Means for YOU:
This is a space where you don’t have to:
– perform
– have the “right” words
– or figure it all out alone
Whether we’re working together in session or you’re stepping onto a dance floor at one of my events—
the goal is the same:
Helping you feel safe enough in your body to create real change in your life and relationships.
